Description

This comfortable, well-maintained 2-story home is located in Anchorage, designated a "Tree City USA." Anchorage is a small city with its own police and fire department, and a 2-mile walking/biking trail, restaurant, post office, salon, and top-ranked school all within walking distance. However, it's just a short, 10-15 minute drive from the major expressways (I-265. I-264, and I-64), grocery stores, shopping centers, and beautiful parks, and just 20 minutes from downtown Louisville and the airport. None of the major hospitals (Baptist, Norton's, Jewish) are more than 20 minutes away, The home offers approximately 4000 square feet on the first 2 floors, and 1000 square feet in the finished basement. It sits on a large, private lot and features a furnished deck, fire pit, swings for two, and a gas grill. There are trees for shade and privacy but also plenty of room for tossing a football or other outdoor activities.

The main bedroom and bathroom span the full depth of the house, with windows overlooking both the front and back yards. In the other 3 bedrooms, one has a queen bed, one has a full and one is currently a "reading room" but will be converted to a bedroom with a twin bed. In the wood-paneled finished basement, there is a family room (with a futon), kitchenette and a full bath, and tiled floors for easy maintenance.

With a large capacity Samsung front loading washer and dryer, rods and a rack for hanging clothes that don't go in the dryer, mop sink, ironing board, and iron, and room to store up to 4 laundry baskets (2 are provided), doing laundry will be much easier.
